great access to parks and historic spots for city explorers
During my weekend stay, I loved being just under 5 km from the beautiful Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge where I enjoyed a relaxing nature walk, and it was only 8 km to the historic Smithville village where I wandered through unique shops and eateries that really captured the local charm. the bed in my room was super comfy and perfect for a solo traveler like me who enjoys a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring, but the bathroom could have been cleaner to match the otherwise cozy vibe of the room.

We loved visiting the local hiking trails and exploring the nearby lakes. The rooms were clean and quiet, not too fancy, but perfect for a group getaway. The staff was friendly and helped us out late at night when we arrived. Definitely recommend this spot for a fun trip!
One thing to note, the parking lot could get a bit crowded during peak hours, which made it tricky to find a space.

missingWrote a review on May 19basic conveniencesgood location
I stayed here while attending a bridal shower nearby. The room offered basic conveniences like air conditioning and free WiFi. However, I found myself needing facial tissues and was surprised they weren’t provided. The location was perfect for my plans, but I couldn't ignore how the room appeared a bit run down.
